Sanjana Modha is a rising star in modern Indian cuisine. Her debut cookbook, Sanjana Feasts, showcases the bold flavours and creativity of the Indian diaspora, while exploring how the recipes she loves are rooted in her Indian heritage, East African family background, and Yorkshire childhood.
Sanjana will dig deep into her journey to food writing and the inspiration behind creating the unique combinations that are authentic to her cross-cultural upbringing. From signature dishes such as Ruffled Biryani, Madras Mac and Cheese with Naan Crumbs, Desi-inspired French Bread Pizza, and Indian-inspired Rocky Road to delicious Indian classics, she infuses bold flavours into everyday meals.
Sanjana will not only describe the mouth-watering flavours of her recipes: each ticket holder will get to enjoy a tasting plate of her delicious food. Before the event begins, you'll be able to serve yourself from a selection of wonderful dishes: samosas, chutneys, hara bhara kebab rolls, Indian-inspired rocky road, carrot cake scones, biscuit laddoos, masala chai and more.
